What Is a Liquid Face Lift?
A liquid face lift is a specialized anti-aging treatment that is used to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Liquid face lifts combine Botox and Juvéderm injectable filler to provide a non-surgical wrinkle reduction and skin rejuvenation procedure. Liquid face lifts are considered a safe and effective treatment option for women and men of all ages.
Liquid face lifts are in-office treatments that must be completed by board certified professionals. Our office provides liquid face lifts in Rock Hill, SC and Charlotte, NC to provide long-term relief from the signs of aging.
How Long Does a Liquid Facelift Last?
Liquid facelifts are non-surgical procedures used to provide lasting relief from the many indications that aging is taking place. Patients undergoing this procedure can expect to see improvements to the skin of the face and neck for 3-6 months. After this period of time, an additional procedure may be necessary to enjoy ongoing results. Liquid face lifts are used for cosmetic purposes only and do not offer relief from headaches and other minor complaints the way that Botox alone does.
What Is Botox?
BOTOX is an injectable that relaxes the muscles that cause facial wrinkles around the eyes and brow. Botox should be utilized by a medical professional but does not require a plastic surgeon, doctor of medicine, or another high-ranking medical professional to be administered. Instead, Botox should be administered by a member of your health care team who is trained in Botox administration and other aesthetic services.
What is Juvéderm?
Juvéderm is a dermal filler that erases creases that can be seen at the sides of the nose, corners of the mouth, and folds in different areas of the face. The main active ingredient, hyaluronic acid, re-hydrates the skin and replenishes the surface for jaw-dropping, long-lasting results.
Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy
What is Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy?
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy is a cosmetic procedure. This treatment option doesn’t contain artificial ingredients typical of fillers. The main ingredient with this facelift is, you guessed it, the patient’s blood!
The technology used within Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy is called Selphyl. It is prepared using the patient’s blood. Platelets are separated from red blood cells and blended with a fibrin mixture. The mixture is then injected into the area that a patient wants to correct.
The area of concern is overfilled by 20% so that the patient can see what the approximate final results will be.
Over the course of several weeks, the fibrin matrix builds up and shows the final result of the procedure. Working with a health care provider will ensure that you achieve the proper treatment plan for your skincare goals and needs.
How Long Does Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy Last?
PRP therapy is a cosmetic procedure designed with longevity in mind. When completed in the proper context and by a trained professional, patients can expect to enjoy improved skin texture and appearance for up to 15 months. PRP therapy can be used along with other aesthetic treatments to create a robust anti-aging skincare regimen.
